The brief

The brief was to create an identity and commerce website for Ulzzang, a new online korean beauty retailer. Ulzzang brings fresh Korean beauty trends to the UK and Europe. Ulzzang’s team selects and regulates premium lines that combine unconventional Asian medicine ingredients with the latest skincare technologies.

The results

The brand identity combines contemporary and classic design style that evokes beauty and editorial design aesthetics. The website, photography and supporting materials convey this through the consistent art direction. The responsive website utilises best practice web development and current design trends. The digital art direction stands out and feel fresh in comparison to other beauty brands. A social media toolkit was created to kick start Ulzzang’s launch.
